Krotos Studio – Sound Design Software

Krotos Studio is a desktop application and plugin for fast, performable sound design. It includes 300+ presets for ambiences, foley, whooshes, footsteps, and more, with an XY-pad style workflow so you can perform and tweak sounds in real time and drag results into your timeline. You get granular control over many parameters and an AI-style ambience generator for seamless backgrounds. Newer features include video-to-sound design for placing and mixing sound to picture. It runs as a standalone app and as VST/AU/AAX in Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Reaper, DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, and other hosts. All included sound effects are royalty-free. Available as a subscription (e.g. monthly or annual); Pro and Max tiers add custom sound import and expanded libraries.
